Weekend on the Lake

Its downright cold here and there is nothing better than scrapping summer vacation photos. Same goes for when I am scrapping Christmas pictures in July when it is 100 degrees outside. Today's pages are from our visit to my aunt and uncle's lake house.

The paper is from Echo Parks Hello Summer Line. I am so in love with the colors from this line and how versatile it is for all my pictures. I have used it for pictures from May onward. I rarely order an entire line, but this was one I had to have everything of. Even the stickers are fun, and I have been using them. I am famous for collecting my stickers in a basket.

I also used the WRMK photo sleeves. These are just amazing when you have a lot of pictures from an event, but don't want to have too many pages for one event. This is one way I have stream lined my scrapping over the past year. Initially I did not embrace these pockets, but now I like them. Especially since we do a lot of the same summer activities each year. I can scrap my favorite pics, but keep all the pictures together.

This last page is amazing. I love the simplicity and how it reflects the beauty of the pictures. There is nothing better than a summer sunset.

  2. I love that first layout... The blue really pops against the kraft paper.
