Paper Lanterns

We had a special treat on the fourth of July. One of my aunt's brought a paper lantern to send up into the sky.

 This paper is from Basic Grey, and I don't honestly remember the specific line. I really enjoy all the colors in this paper line. I generally enjoy the kraft and blue tones, and my orange shirt and the green folage just tie in so well.

 The letters were cut on my Silhouette, and part of the challenge on this page was to use foam adhesive to give the page dimension.

I decided to use the journalling strips because it looks too blocky all together. This was a super fun day with family and very memorable. I'm so glad to have my camera with great lens capabilities, to capture these special moments.
