Valentines at White Gull Inn

During our little ski day we decided to go to brunch at our favorite White Gull Inn. They have the most beautiful decorations for Valentine's Day. And the snow out front was even more beautiful.

The patterned paper is from Little Yellow Bicycle. It is actually from their Christmas line, but the red and floral was very elegant. The kraft and ivory striped is a Christmas line from My Mind's Eye. The flourishes are recollections and I cut the big flourish with a big shot dye from Basic Grey.
I wanted to do an elegant lettering, but my Gypsy was not compatible with my friends cricut on our girls weekend. So I made do with what I had.

The lace was from a Websters Pages ribbon package I used on our girls weekend. Sewing was my favorite thing I learned on our girls weekend...except for modeling paste. I've never sewn on pages before, but it gives it a beautiful effect.

If you ever get up to Door Country, White Gull Inn is the place to visit. They have the most beautiful decorations and outdoor set up year round.

  1. so pretty, Love the lace and the use of holiday paper for another purpose. I think I've stayed there, (but that means I have to go look for the photos).
