Scrapbook Expo

Over the weekend I had the opportunity to visit Scrapbook Expo in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We left at 6am and headed down to Milwaukee. It was a great trip and we barely had any traffic. We took two different class.

The first class was put on by Spellbinders and Fun Stampers Journey. Richard taught the class and he did a fantastic job. We did an altered art journal, I plan to do some mixed media techniques in it. He had a new line coming out this summer and I am super excited!

This was our book starting out

First layer of paint

Second layer of paint on and die cutting started. We used the Grand Calibur Cutter with the Spellbinders Dies

Third layer of paint and die cutting a second paper

Sanded the first layer of paint to add in the gold paint, and we painted our die cutted center
The final product at home after we glued it all together and glazed it!

Class two-Disney tag album. It moved much faster so I didn't get many pics.

Ending the day at Cheesecake Factory. My first visit had to be finished with cheesecake!

I got two pins for the day! Thankfully I didn't qualify for the shopping pin
 All my purchases at home!

We had an absolute blast. Can't wait to go again next year. I'm hoping this event grows and they get more classes and vendors.
